None at all. The majority of our members had zero boxing experience when they started. Every class is coached from the ground up—your coaches demonstrate every movement, call every combination, and give modifications for every fitness level. Whether it’s your first day or your 500th, the coaching meets you where you are.

Wear comfortable athletic gear and sneakers. If you have your own gloves and wraps, bring them along! If not, don’t sweat it—we have high-quality gear available for purchase at the gym. Just remember your water bottle and arrive 10 minutes early so we can get you ready to hit the floor.

Our group classes (Fundamentals, Knockout Cardio, and Knockout Power) are 100% non-contact. You work on heavy bags, shadowbox, and do partner technique drills (like holding focus mitts for each other), but there is no sparring or person-to-person contact in any of our three class formats.

Any fitness level—genuinely. Every exercise in every class has modifications that scale up or down based on where you are today. Some of our most dedicated members started completely out of shape. Your coaches will help you find the right intensity from your very first class and progress you from there.

We usually recommend Knockout Cardio for first-timers. It’s high energy, music-driven, and the coaching is non-stop—so you’re never guessing what to do. That said, you genuinely can’t pick wrong. Fundamentals is great if you want a slower pace with more technique focus. Knockout Power is perfect if you love strength training. All three welcome beginners with open arms.

We know you’re coming because you booked online. We’ll show you around the gym, help you wrap your hands (we’ll teach you how), set you up at a bag, and walk you through everything. During class, your coach calls every combination and demonstrates every movement. You’re never left figuring things out alone.

Fundamentals focuses on boxing technique—stance, footwork, punches, defensive movement, and combinations. It’s the most coach-intensive class, with a focus on building real boxing skill. Knockout Cardio is a high-energy, music-driven class built around timed rounds on the heavy bag with bodyweight intervals—think boxing-powered HIIT with a playlist that makes you forget you’re working out. Knockout Power splits time between functional strength training (kettlebells, dumbbells, bodyweight) and heavy bag boxing rounds—it’s the class that builds raw power behind your punches. All three are coached, all three welcome beginners.

All classes are approximately 60 minutes. Each class follows a structured format: warm-up, the main workout (rounds, intervals, or strength circuits depending on the class), and a cool-down. Your coaches manage the clock so you can focus on the work.

Absolutely—and we encourage it. The three programs are designed to complement each other. Fundamentals builds your technique, Knockout Cardio builds your engine, and Knockout Power builds your strength. Many of our most committed members rotate through all three throughout the week.

We recommend 3-4 classes per week to see meaningful results, but even 2 classes per week will make a noticeable difference in how you feel and perform. Listen to your body, especially in the first few weeks—soreness is normal as your body adapts to the new movements. Your coaches can help you plan a weekly schedule that fits your goals.

Yes—we offer personal training sessions with our coaches for members who want individualized attention, technique deep-dives, or accelerated skill development. Ask at the front desk or contact us for details and availability.

Yes. Your first class is completely free, no strings attached. Book online, show up, and experience a full class with no commitment and no payment information required. If you love it (and you will), we’ll talk about membership options after.

We offer several membership tiers designed to fit different training frequencies and budgets. All memberships include unlimited access to all three class types—Fundamentals, Knockout Cardio, and Knockout Power. We offer both month-to-month and commitment-based options. Our month-to-month membership gives you full flexibility with no long-term lock-in. We also offer discounted rates for members who choose a longer commitment. Details are on our Pricing page.

Yes. We offer a 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee on out Platinum plans. If you attend at least 12 classes in your first 30 days and don’t love it, we’ll refund your monthly dues. We’re that confident you’ll stay. (The one-time enrollment fee is non-refundable)

Yes—we offer membership freeze options for travel, injury, or life circumstances that require a break. Contact us or ask at the front desk for the specific terms and duration options.

Boxing fitness classes may qualify as a covered expense under your HSA or FSA plan depending on your particular circumstances. We work with our partners to help you obtain a letter of medical necessity (LMN), which may require a small fee. After this process you may be able to claim the reimbursement for your gym membership dues.

Yes—we have free parking right at the gym. You won’t have to walk far or worry about street parking.
